A nice and relaxing hiking tour to Pyhävaara, one of the former holy mountains of the Sami's. Enjoy the view over the lakes and silent forests under the midnight sun. Coffee/tee with sweet bun is included.

Pieni Karhunkierros - The little Bear’s Trail
Pieni Karhunkierros (12 km) is the little brother of the famous big bear hiking trail. A lovely hiking tour beyond the handsome rapids and over the hanging bridges in Oulanka National Park. During the tour your guide will tell facts and tales about the area. Snack and coffee/tea with sweet bun are included. Starting point: Juuma, Retkietappi. If needed ask about the offer for transportation to Juuma and back to Ruka/Kuusamo.

Wilderness camp with outdoor cooking 
We will show you the basic wilderness skills and techniques in a forest camp beside a lake. During the program you will learn many interesting and educational things about the nature. This program includes also outdoor cooking. Your guide will show you how to prepare pancakes by open fire. Program includes also angle fishing. This program is done by an international Wilderness Guide. This program is perfect also for families and children. Come and have a taste of outdoor life!

The Finnish summer day
Take a break from everyday life and enjoy a relaxing cottage day. Do you want to try the angle fishing (and prepare your catch with our help for lunch), rowing, swimming and enjoying original Finnish cottage sauna or to be active with our various cottage activities (from young children to grandfathers and –mothers)? Or maybe your ideal cottage day means just relaxing and enjoying the lake view and northern sun, you have a possibility to do also that in our holiday island. Fishing with the net
Have a trip out in a boat on the lake with a local fisherman. You will put the net at 4 p.m. – 5 p.m. into the lake and you will take nets up next morning at 7 a.m. If you are successful, you will have fresh fish by open fire. The tour includes also hot cheese, sandwich, and coffee/tea.

Trolling
Try a nice trolling trip on the lake Kuusamojärvi with a local fisherman. The tour includes: coffee and bun by 3 hour trolling trip and coffee and hot sandwich by 6 hour trolling trip.

The Reindeer bike trip
This roundtrip (48 km) includes all typical Finnish landscapes like old spruce and pine trees, follows along well maintained roads and besides lakes and passes beautiful streams. Lunch break (soup, bread, coffee/tea and bun) will be by a Finnish fishing farm and it’s included to the price. The route is easy to ride. Take your own water bottle to the ride with.

The Elk bike trip (about 30 km)
A beautiful bike tour leads us through the lovely landscape of Kuusamo. This trip follows nice forest roads and small ponds. Coffee/tea with sweet bun is included to the price. Take your own water bottle to the ride with.

Kuusamo town nordic walking tour
Get to know the lovely town of Kuusamo! This tour is a mix of sightseeing and active wellness. Your guide will teach you the basic technique of Nordic walking and during the trip he will tell you about the life, history, places and facts about Kuusamo. Mosquito master
Challenge yourself and your fellow competitors to find out how to catch our lovely summer friends called mosquitoes! This program makes you run and laugh in a way you won’t forget! The title of the mosquito master and the prize goes to the winner to take home. This program takes place at the backyard of Sokos Hotel Kuusamo. Ideal for groups.
